• DECEMBER PHOTO CLUB: The Photo Club will meet online on Wednesday, December 10 (1:30 – 3pm). This month’s Photo Challenge is “After Dark”. • POINSETTIA IN PASTELS: On Saturday, December 13 from 10am – 12pm ($20/$30), artist Janice Shindle will guide you to create a vibrant, red poinsettia using soft pastels. No experience necessary. • BOOK CLUB 2.0 DECEMBER SELECTION: Read or listen to The Seamstress of New Orleans by Diane C. McPhail, then join the discussion on Monday, December 22 (10am) at the Panera located at 13256 N. Dale Mabry Hwy. (Note: This book may have content not suitable for all readers.)

• WANT TO LEARN MAH JONGG? We are working on scheduling the next 8-week Intro to Mah Jongg class (Mondays 1-3:30pm). If you are interested in learning Mah Jongg in the new year, please email info@LECtampa.org or call (813) 932-0241 to be added to the interest list.

• SUPPLIES NEEDED: plastic tablecloths (disposable, rectangular, assorted colors), masking/painter’s tape (plain or black preferred)

• WINTER ART WANTED: The LEC Gallery is changing seasons! The current autumn-inspired art will be transitioning to a winter wonderland starting in January. Please drop off submissions of winter-inspired art during the first week in January. For more information, email info@LECtampa.org or call (813) 932-0241.

• WEEKDAY VOLUNTEERS NEEDED: Please email info@LECtampa.org if you are interested in help during the week with a variety of tasks. We will try to pair your skills, interests, and availability with our needs.

• NEW IN 2026–SUPPLIES: Beginning January 1, 2026, the LEC will not be providing supplies for some classes/workshops. For those classes/workshops, upon registration and payment, you will be emailed a supply list. Please visit Class Sign Up on the LEC website for more information.

• NEW IN 2026—CANCELLATION POLICY: While we understand that emergencies happen, if you have signed up and paid for a class/workshop, you MUST cancel at least 24 hours before class time. Cancellations made within 24 hours of the class/workshop are NOT eligible for a refund or a voucher.
