Class and Workshop News

• COME DRAW WITH TIM: Tim Gibbons is teaching a 6-week Beginning Drawing class on Thursday mornings (10am – 12pm). Learn perspective, shading, shadowing, and different uses of materials. Come on out to have a fun time turning on your imagination. No experience necessary. You may attend even if you missed Week 1. • POETRY CLASS WEEK 2: Mish Murphy returns with an 8-week Poetry class on Thursdays from 10:30am – 12pm. The class is in person and online.  No experience necessary.  You may attend even if you missed Week 1. • FILLED TO THE BRIM: The Acrylic Pour Workshop on Saturday, January 18 is at capacity.  No new registrations are being accepted.  There are also no walk-ins for this workshop.

Club News

• COME WALK WITH US! The first outing of the NEW Walking Club is to Carrollwood Village Park on Monday, January 13.  The group will meet at the LEC at 9am to carpool.  You can also meet the group at the first parking lot (closest to the entrance) at 9:30am.  Wear your walking shoes, bring water, and get ready for fun!  Email info@lectampa.org or call (813) 932-0241 if you have questions.

• PHOTO CLUB: The Photo Club will be in the field this week.  Anyone is welcome to join them.  Meet on Wednesday, January 15 at the Sulfur Springs Park gazebo at 10 am.  They will also be photographing at River Tower Park and Purity Springs.  This is a great opportunity to capture ideas for your future art projects.  Email info@lectampa.org or call (813) 932-0241 if you have questions.
