In this class we will explore different painting methods and techniques to complete a painting.
All media welcome–supply your own materials.
The goal–for you to paint beautiful and interesting paintings! In this class we will explore different drawing methods and techniques to start a painting and finishing it. Students will work from the same resource, which will be sent before class. The class will discuss paints, surfaces, brushes, and mediums. Rick will show how to use: the tonal range, color keys when painting different lighting effects, drawing with the brush, placement of focal points, composition, eye flow, lost and found edges, hard and soft edges. Subjects vary from week-to-week.
Any painting medium you have will work. This class is great for Beginners to Advanced students!
