REMINDER–WATERCOLORS WITH LIONEL SANCHEZ:
If you signed up for the Watercolor Techniques with Lionel Sanchez, it is this Saturday, May 24 from 10am – 1 pm. Materials will be provided, but you may bring your own brushes and paper if you wish. • WALK WITH US: Monday, May 19, 9:30 am. Meet at Rowlett Park for the LAST Monday morning Walking Club outing until October. Anyone interested in joining, please email Arleen at grants@lectampa.org for details. Include your cell phone number.

• SPANISH STORYTELLING: The Beginning Conversational Spanish class meets on Mondays from 10am – 12pm. The topic of conversation this week will be storytelling. No experience necessary. • OUTREACH INSTRUCTORS NEEDED! One day per month, you would lead a paint-along class at a location in Tampa, Temple Terrace, Wimauma, or Plant City. Training is provided. Email info@lectampa.org or call (813) 932-0241 for more information or to volunteer.

• DONATIONS NEEDED: Lysol wipes & Ziploc bags (snack, sandwich, and gallon size)

• SAVE THE DATE!   The LEC is celebrating its 45th Birthday on November 8, 2025 from 10 am to 3 pm. As in years past, we’ll have vendors, demos, and a basket raffle. Come join us.

• The L.E.C. will be CLOSED for Memorial Day (May 26). No Painting with Rick, Intro to Mah Jongg, or Chair Yoga that day.
