Class & Workshop News

• SYLVIA PLATH: Poetry class meets on Thursdays from 10:30am – 12pm online and in person. The topic for this week is Sylvia Plath: “Confessional” Poet. No experience necessary. Register online here, or you can email info@lectampa.org, call (813) 932-0241, or sign up in person.

• BEGINNERS-ONLY PASTELS: Janice Shindle will teach a beginners-only pastels workshop on Saturday, March 29 from 10am – 12pm.  Pastels techniques learned in the workshop can also be applied to other media like colored pencils.  Register on or before March 25: online here, email info@lectampa.org, call (813) 932-0241, or sign up in person.

• BOOK CLUB: The Book Club 2.0 is reading Someone Like Us by Dinaw Mengestu.  Join them to discuss the book on Monday, March 24 from 10 am – 12pm.

• WALKING CLUB: Monday, March 24 at 9:30am Anyone interested in joining the Monday morning Walking Club outing this week, please email Arleen at grants@lectampa.org for details. Include your cell phone number.

• PHOTO CLUB OUTING: The next Photo Club outing will be on March 25 at 10am.  They will be photographing the J. Seward Johnson Sculpture exhibit on display around downtown Plant City.  Email info@lectampa.org for more details.
