If you’ve always been interested in drawing but don’t really know how to get started, then this is the course for you! Gain a solid foundation and understanding of the basics of drawing as you get to explore different techniques and styles. Each week, instructor and artist Shannon Leigh will guide you step-by-step until you get something more complex. Students will get to explore a new subject each week, but the possibilities of what you can create are endless!
This course will help you see like an artist, develop sketches from a variety of shapes, and improve your confidence and technique.
Never taken a drawing class before? Not a problem! This course is beginner-friendly and designed to take you through the basics step-by-step. In addition, Beginning Drawing is a non-linear course, which means if you miss a class, it will always be easy for you to jump right back in!
Learn to express your ideas and creativity as you learn the basics of drawing. All you need is a pencil, sketch pad, and a desire to learn!
