The LEC Photo Club welcomes beginners and well-seasoned photographers alike! We provide a friendly and supportive environment for photographers of all skills levels to enjoy and learn more about their craft. Photo Club is a great opportunity to meet other photography enthusiasts, participate in field trips, share ideas, and exercise your love for this art!
The LEC Photo Club meets once a month following each field trip. The online Zoom meeting is hosted by photography instructor David Beebe to review, discuss, and learn from each other’s images. There will be opportunity for open discussions, demonstrations, and workshops. The group will also select a field trip location for a separate day to practice their art in a group setting. The group will then review the results of the field trip at the next meeting.
You do not need fancy equipment to participate—the best camera is the one you have with you. Photo Club members have photographed with smart phones, point-and-shoots, and digital single lens reflex cameras. All you need is a way to capture images and a willingness to learn, share, and be inspired!
