Paper Art series

Through this series of two-part classes, participants will learn a variety of paper arts.  The series is taught by multiple instructors, each with their own specialty.

All supplies are included for each class. Participants are expected to sign up for both classes within a topic, but they do not have to sign up for every topic.

• PAPER COLLAGE (Sept. 23 & 30):  In these classes, participants will create a whole image using an assemblage of different forms and shapes using paper.
• MIXED MEDIA COLLAGE (Oct. 7 & 14): In these classes, participants will use at least two different art forms (paper, fabric, found objects, photographs, etc.) to create a unique piece of art.
• CARDMAKING (October 21 & 28):  In these classes, participants will learn how to create handmade cards of various styles.
• PRINTMAKING (November 4 & 11):  In these classes, participants will learn several methods of make multiple impressions of a single image.
• JOURNALING (November 18 & 25):  In these classes, participants will explore how to create and decorate their journal and the different types of journals they can produce.
• GEL (Gelli) PRINTS (December 2 & 9):  In these classes, participants will learn how to use a gelli plate (a soft silicone plate) to create beautiful prints without a press.
