Oh Sparkling Waves by Wendy Gardana and The Dancing Wave by Betty Hagan
Oh Sparkling Waves
by Wendy Gardana
Oh sparkling waves of seafoam green,
And silky white sand between my toes,
Seagulls many on the scene,
My avid fascination grows.
Seashells like treasure at my feet,
Invite a search of promised bounty.
A startled fiddler crab to meet,
I feel their tiny eyes around me.
My face is kissed with salty air,
Sun, warm and balmy envelopes me,
Sighing as though I haven’t a care,
Eyeing the vastness of the sea.

In celebration of National Poetry Month, Life Enrichment Center writers and artists have published “Poetic Artistry”… a collection of poetry and art! Check back often as we will post a new poem and its corresponding piece of art every day or so throughout April. Or purchase a copy of the book here!
