Hatha Yoga is a yoga practice that focuses on the most essential yoga poses and breathing techniques for creating openness, inner peace, and healing from the inside out. Breathing exercises and meditation will bring lightness, ease, and clarity to the body, mind, and spirit.

Specifically, Hatha yoga is all about balancing the mind and the body—it builds strength and flexibility while promoting relaxation and mindfulness. Hatha yoga combines slow, deliberate poses, controlled breathing, and meditation. This type of yoga allows you to move your body more slowly and deliberately with longer static holds in between posture changes.

Hatha Yoga tends to be slower paced with more emphasis on posture instruction and controlled breathing, making it ideal for those who are new to yoga or for those who prefer a more relaxed pace. Beginners and seasoned yoga students are both welcome. Modifications and variations will be provided as needed.
