Announcements: Week of Jan. 23

We have scheduled a field trip to the Miniature Show on Tuesday, Jan. 31. The entrance fee will be paid by a grant and will be free for members. If you are not a member, the fee is $8.00. You must sign up in advance.  If you want to carpool, we will meet at the LEC at 9:15 am.

 

Class Notes:

 

1. Beginning Acrylic Painting with Tim is now in its third week. It meets Wed. at 6:00 pm. This is a six-week class.
2. On Thursday, from 1-3pm, we have Pastels with Janice Schindle. You did not need to be at the first class to join this fun group.
3. Chinese Brush Painting I had to be postponed because our instructor was ill. It will meet for the first time on Friday, Jan. 27 from 9-11am. This is a four week class to be followed by another four weeks of Brush Painting II.
4. Our one day Workshop on Collage with Bonnie Phillips is approaching. It will be on Saturday, Jan. 28 from 10-1. It is FREE!
5. Hatha Yoga, now Yoga for All, is on Tuesdays from 1-2pm on zoom.
6. We continue to offer our traditional watercolor, drawing, painting, and creative writing classes, as well as our popular Tai Chi class.
