Announcements: Week of April 3-8
Volunteer at the LEC!
-Volunteers are a tremendous resource for charitable nonprofits. Absent volunteers, many charitable nonprofits would not be able to conduct programs, raise funds, or serve clients.
-Many charitable nonprofits have no paid staff and are run entirely by volunteers.
-Volunteering has been shown to have a favorable effect on depression, life satisfaction and mental well-being.
Volunteer Opportunities
-If you are searching for a volunteer opportunity, the LEC needs you. Our volunteers work two hours per day. They answer phones, greet people, answer emails or work in the library. We couldn’t be open without our volunteers!
-Currently we need volunteers for Tuesday and Wednesday afternoons (1-3 pm) and Friday morning (10-noon).
-Volunteers are critical components to the LEC to not only helping us survive, but also thrive. We hope you’ll consider us as you seek to lend a hand.
