Week of Sept 25^th through Sept 29^th

 

• LEC Veterans! We want to show you our appreciation for all you’ve done for our country and us here at the LEC. November 1st we are celebrating you! We would love for you to fill out a LEC Veterans Info form and turn it in with a photograph into the office by October 1st!

 

• Chinese Brush Painting with Renee Vickery is Friday 10:00am to 12:00pm. This class has 4 sessions, so mark your calendars!

 

• Bridge 2 is Starting Monday October 2^nd from 1 to 3pm with John Chaplick!

 

• Call for Volunteers! Tuesday and Thursday afternoons we need your help here at the LEC. If organizing, answering phones, and aiding us in office tasks appeals to you, stop in, and let us know!

 

• October 4^th Potluck Program Presentation on Transitioning into Retirement, Widowhood, etc.

 

• Call for Art for our Silent Auction! Artists—we will be conducting a silent auction as our fundraiser this year. You will not be receiving any commission on this—only our undying gratitude and the knowledge someone will be hanging your beautiful work up in their home! If you would like to contribute a piece of artwork, please do the following:
  • Take a picture of your art – Do NOT bring it in.
  • Email picture along with: your Name, Medium, Dimensions, Title, and Price to [email protected]
  • Please put “Auction” in the subject line of your email

You are free to donate as many pieces as you like.

 

Save the Dates!

• October 18^th! Jayne’s Book Launch; “Raising the Dead”! She will be reading an excerpt from the book and doing signings! Refreshments provided!
• November 1^st is our Veterans Potluck Luncheon!
• November 4^th is our LEC Celebration! Happy 43^rd Birthday to us!
• November 15^th Thanks Gibbons Potluck!
