Announcements:

Week of October 15^th through October 21^st  

 

• LEC Veterans – Join us November 1^st for our luncheon honoring you. If you haven’t turned in your form and photograph please do so to Morgan asap. Don’t forget to RSVP for the luncheon as well.

 

• Jayne’s Book Launch; “Raising the Dead” is October 18^th. She will be reading an excerpt from the book, offering a Q & A, and doing signings. Refreshments provided.

 

• Bridge 2 is on Mondays from 1 to 3pm with John Chaplick. All levels are welcome.

 

• Meditative Doodling is back. Sarah is hosting on Zoom Wednesdays from 10am to 12pm.

 

• Our LEC Birthday Celebration is coming up! We will be having an Art show, hosting a Silent Auction, and more. You can reserve a table to show and sell your work. The tables are first come first serve; they’re also free for members and $10 for non-members. Contact us to reserve your table.

 

• Call for Art for our Silent Auction. Artists—we will be conducting a silent auction as our fundraiser this year. Please have your artwork turned in by October 20th. You are free to donate as many pieces as you like.

 

• Community Stepping Stones Art Auction canvases must be turned in Friday October 27^th.

 

• The Florida State Fair is taking applications for the 2024 Art show. The applications and payments are due to us by November 29^th and it is $5 per entry. You can apply here in person or online at the floridastatefair.com.
