Announcements: Week of September 1st – 7th
Did you know…
Industrial Art includes artworks created using machinery or mass-produced products. This could be almost anything–from stacked tractors to painted light bulbs and wires arranged on a canvas to a stained-glass Tiffany-style lamp. Art movements such as Dadaism, Cubism, and Constructivism all intersect with industrial arts. Found object art can also be classified as industrial art. Textiles, metalwork, glass, ceramics, and leatherwork are common media used in industrial art. Although the meaning of Industrial Art has shifted over the past century, it is still a unique field of art offering many creative possibilities.
